Maxus may not be a brand you’re immediately familiar with, but it’s the new name for what used to be LDV in the UK. That brand was acquired by the Chinese company behind MG, with Maxus vans rolled out across the world in 2020. Since then, it’s built a reputation for affordable and capable vans with impressive new electric models, too.

The Maxus range consists of the small electric-only eDeliver 3 and the eDeliver 9 large van. Both deliver as much as 200 miles of range, with generous loading room and flexibility, with various shapes and sizes. Maxus has also launched the T90EV – the first electric pickup on sale in the UK.

The Maxus eDeliver 3 is a compact electric van that’s bigger than a small van but with dimensions a little below a standard mid-sized van. However, because it’s been designed as electric-only (there’s no diesel, hybrid or petrol option), Maxus has used lightweight materials to maximise range and load capacity that rivals bigger and more expensive vans.
