It really is that simple!

Is leasing an electric fleet right for my business?

No matter the size of your business, fleet leasing is a fantastic option for any company that requires its staff to have access to new cars for travel. As well as saving money in the short term by not having to fork out hundreds of thousands of pounds in one go when buying cars outright, you’ll also not need to worry about the value of the cars depreciating over time or the hassle of trying to sell them, as you will simply hand the cars back at the end of the fleet leasing agreement.

Further reasons why leasing an EV fleet is a great idea for your business include:

  • Lower running costs
  • Low BiK rates
  • No emission charges in ULEZ areas
  • Increased business reputation
  • A smooth driving experience for your staff

What are the benefits of switching to an EV fleet?

If you are a business owner, there are countless reasons to want to switch your fleet of cars to all-electric models. These include:

  • Reducing your business’ carbon emissions
  • Saving money on fuel costs
  • Other financial incentives such as lower Benefit-in-Kind tax rates
  • Lower maintenance costs
  • Improved driver morale and productivity
  • Increased company reputation and social responsibility by going green

You can find more details on all of the benefits of switching to an EV fleet in our fleet leasing guide.

What does the GRIDSERVE fleet management tool offer?

What is EV fleet management?

Electric vehicle fleet management is the process of overseeing the performance of a group of business cars in order to increase their productivity and ensure that a business runs as smoothly as possible. As the name suggests, this is specifically for fleets that are solely comprised of electric vehicles, rather than petrol or diesel alternatives.

As a rule, a collection of more than two or three vehicles is considered to be a fleet, with some EV fleets having 100+ vehicles out on the UK roads at any one time.

What other services does GRIDSERVE provide?

As well as helping your business fleet needs, GRIDSERVE also offers personal and business car leasing deals for those that only require one electric vehicle. Plus, our EV salary sacrifice scheme helps people switch to an electric car via sacrificing a portion of their monthly salary to lease an EV, benefitting from savings on income tax and National Insurance Contributions (NIC). The GRIDSERVE salary sacrifice scheme includes comprehensive insurance, planned replacement tyres, all annual services, annual breakdown cover and three months of free charging on the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway.
