Firstly, leasing provides an affordable pathway to accessing cutting-edge electric technology without the upfront costs associated with purchasing a brand-new vehicle. By opting for a lease, you can enjoy the latest Volvo EV models with their state-of-the-art features and commitment to safety, luxury, and innovation. As EVs produce zero tailpipe emissions, you’re also reducing your carbon footprint and promoting cleaner air quality. By embracing sustainable driving, you actively participate in the global shift towards a greener and eco-friendly society.

Lease a Volvo with GRIDSERVE and we’ll provide you with three months of free electric car charging to use at any GRIDSERVE charging station.  We also have our tree planting programme with 100 trees planted for every lease, and expert delivery and customer care.

How does Volvo electric car leasing work?

Volvo leasing works by providing you with the opportunity to drive a Volvo electric car for a set period, either 24, 36 or 48 months, in exchange for low fixed monthly lease payments. First, you choose the Volvo model and trim level you wish to lease, then determine the lease term and mileage allowance that best suits your requirements. After this, you can calculate your monthly lease payments based on the agreed-upon lease term, mileage, and the vehicle's price. After you’ve signed the Volvo lease deal, we’ll arrange a delivery date and ship the car to your door. All that’s left at this stage is to enjoy driving your new Volvo!

What are the end-of-lease options for a Volvo deal?

As the lease term approaches its end, you will have various options:

Return the Vehicle: Return the leased Volvo to us, and we’ll ensure it meets any agreed-upon wear and tear guidelines and mileage limits.

Lease Renewal: Explore the possibility of extending the Volvo lease deal, so you can enjoy driving your favourite model for longer.

New Car Lease: If another model has caught your eye instead, you can take out a lease on a different car.

What charging options are available for Volvo EVs?

The best way to charge your Volvo electric car is by taking advantage of the growing network of public charging stations on the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway, including fast chargers available in many locations throughout the UK. You can also install a dedicated home charging station for convenient overnight charging, and you can get a home installation estimate in just 2 minutes from our partners at Smart Home Charge.

Can I make changes to the mileage on the Volvo lease deal?

If you're outside the first or last six months of your Volvo leasing contract, you are able to make changes to your contracted mileage during the course of your lease agreement.

To start this process, you can either speak to your leasing consultant or drop us an email at with your vehicle registration, the current mileage and the mileage you'd like to change it to and our experienced customer services team will be able to help.

What tax savings can be made thanks to a Volvo electric lease deal?

If your Volvo electric car is a company car, you'll only pay 2% Benefit in Kind (BiK) tax at the current rates, which are subject to change over time. You also won't pay any road tax and will be able to drive in Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ), such as the one in London, for free. Plus, you could be eligible for grants and incentives that come with switching to an EV.
