MG4 performance and range
The MG4 is available with a standard or Long Range battery option, with an bigger battery Extended Range version launching later in 2023. That means for now you can opt for the 51kWh battery which delivers up to 218 miles of range or the 64kWh version with up to 281 miles of range.
With a maximum charging speed of up to 135kW you’ll never be waiting long to get going again on the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway. There are three available variations of the MG Motor UK MG4 that can be leased from GRIDSERVE: the Standard version, the Long Range version, and the Trophy Long Range version. The Standard version comes in a little bit cheaper, while the Long Range versions give you more distance on a charge.
The price of your MG4 lease deal will vary depending on the specifications of the leasing agreement as well as the exact model that you go for. Factors that will affect your monthly payment amount include the length of the contract, whether it’s a personal or business lease, the annual mileage, and the initial rental payment period.
Though it’s a fairly compact car, the MG4 still has a good amount of space in the boot for luggage, at 363 litres. The MG4 is also 4,287mm long, 1,836mm wide and 1,504mm tall.

The Standard version of the MG4 has a respectable amount of power at 170 bhp, with the Long Range and Trophy Long Range versions increasing to 203 bhp to account for the larger battery.
MG4’s Standard version can be charged from empty to full in 9 hours and 15 minutes when hooked up to a Type 2 home 6.6kW AC charger, or from 20-80% in just 37 minutes on a DC CCS charger, with peak speeds of 117kWh.
The Long Range edition can charge faster due to its ability to support an 11 kW AC Type 2 charger at home, going from empty to full in 6 hours 45 minutes. The 20-80% time when on a DC CCS charger is at 34 minutes, with peak speeds of 135kW.
