Electric cars don’t come much more luxurious than the Genesis Electrified G80. The South Korean carmaker may be a relative newcomer to the UK, but the G80 is a talented statement of intent. This elegant executive saloon provides a comfortable and serene drive as well as a healthy dose of performance, making it an appealing alternative to the well-established German brands.

The Genesis GV60 is a practical, comfortable, crossover SUV. It’s the first vehicle in the Genesis range to be built from the ground up as a pure electric car. That means unlike the GV70 and G80, there’s no option for a petrol or diesel engine in the GV60. It also means the design is more aerodynamic, the trademark Genesis grille is toned down, and passenger space inside has been maximised.

The Genesis GV70 is an all-electric SUV that has a lot going for it as a viable alternative to more established brands like Audi and BMW. With the signature Genesis grille and headlights, it’ll make a statement on the road, while inside is both comfortable and elegant. Beneath the luxury, though, the GV70 still has enough performance to make it fun to drive.

Genesis Electric Car Leasing FAQs

Why should I lease a Genesis electric car with GRIDSERVE?

As a relatively new brand, Genesis competes against much more well-known and established manufacturers, but they more than hold their own in the luxury saloon and SUV space. Due to it being part of the Hyundai-Kia family, it has some brilliant brands backing it up. Genesis vehicles are also loaded with safety features that include smart cruise control, lane keep assist and driver attention alert. Overall, they offer a luxury feel inside and out.

When you lease a Genesis or any other model with GRIDSERVE, you can benefit from three months of free charging across the entire GRIDSERVE network. Plus, for every car that we lease, we’ll plant 100 trees to help give back to the planet.

How many Genesis electric car models are there?

There are currently three electric cars available to lease from the South Korean manufacturer Genesis, in the form of the G80, GV60 and GV70. Those looking for a more budget luxury option can take a look at the GV60, a practical and comfortable crossover SUV. Those looking for the ultimate luxury drive may want to consider the G80 instead.

What are the range figures of Genesis’ electric cars?

Range is one of the Genesis brand’s biggest selling points, with all models having fantastic range figures. The G80’s WLTP range is 323 miles, with the GV60 at 321 miles and the GV70 at 283 miles.

The exact figures you get when out on the roads can vary depending on the specific model type that you choose, as well as every day factors affecting the range, such as weather conditions, driving style and more.

Which is the cheapest electric Genesis car to lease?

Prices do tend to change over time, though the GV60 tends to be the cheapest Genesis model available, closely followed by the GV70. Make sure to check back to see the latest Genesis car leasing prices.

By test driving it first, you can decide whether it’s the right car for you by getting a feel from behind the wheel.
